  42. RUNNING FROM WINDOWS

  44. You can run HOME STRETCH from windows by selecting RUN from the FILE menu
  45. in the Program Manager.  Then choose BROWSE to find the subdirectory which
  46. contains the program.  Then select HS.EXE by double-clicking on it and
  47. then click on the OK button.  Select NEW from the FILE menu to add HOME
  48. STRETCH to a program group in Program Manager.  That way you can run HOME
  49. STRETCH by simply clicking on its icon.

  54. Although this copy of HOME STRETCH is for Windows, you can start it from DOS.
  55. Just change to the subdirectory which contains the program and enter HS.
  56. Windows will be started automatically and HOME STRETCH will load and run.

  65. This copy of HOME STRETCH is Shareware.  You can evaluate this product for
  66. up to 30 days without obligation, however, if you plan to continue using it
  67. after 30 days, you must register.

  83. HOME STRETCH for WINDOWS costs $20.  The registered version has several
  84. enhancements like additional horse art (grey and bay color horses), new
  85. sounds (including trumpet), higher starting credits, horse editing (name,
  86. color, and speed profile), 50 additional pre-made horse, horse creation
  87. (add up to 1,000 horses), game load and save functions, and removal of the
  88. shareware reminders and order information screen.

  90. For an extra $10 (that's $30 total) you can get HOME STRETCH PRO.  The PRO
  91. version includes everything in the basic registration mentioned above, plus
  92. HORSE OWNERSHIP.  This adds a whole new dimension to HOME STRETCH.  You can
  93. own and manage your own stable of horses.  You can claim horses, decide
  94. which races to enter, give the jockey specific instruction, sell horses,
  95. and bet on your (or other) horses.  Through careful management, you can
  96. increase your net worth dramatically.
